I am in my senior yr of nursing school and we are just finishing a minimester which ends on Thursday. I graduate in May and would like to take the NCLEX a couple weeks after. For those who have taken the NCLEX-RN exam how long in advance did you start preparing for it?

I graduated in May and started some studying in March or so. I got my authorization to test June 13 and tested the 18th, licensed the 20th.
Wow congratulations and thank you for responding. I was thinking about starting to do review during the Christmas break but I wasn't sure if that was too soon or not. You stated that you started in March what resources did you use to prepare. I am so nervous about the NCLEX.

Part of our curriculum was a NCLEX prep class in which we were required to do 2000 NCLEX questions. So I technically started doing questions in May and graduated in August. I got my ATT a few weeks later and started hitting the questions hard for 3 weeks before taking the test Sept 12th.
