When is your Spring Break & what are you doing?

  • Expert

Mine starts 3/9 @ 3 PM.

Not a fun vacay for me, but r&r will be fine. My son is in the school play so there is practice next week and my mother has an angiogram F/U from a brain aneurysm we found this summer (All good).

I want to live vicariously through your plans!

Ours starts at 3PM on 3/23. We are headed to CA. My parents have a house in the desert, and will both be there while we are there, which is good, because my daughter loves spending time with them, and they will play in the pool with her while I lay around in the sun, reading as many books as I can fit in:).

It's my happy place there, and I cannot wait.

Working. We don't get Spring Break. Unless you count Good Friday and Easter Monday.

March 30-April 8.

I'll be doing my BF.

The school I work at has spring break March 26-30 so I am off then. My daughter goes to another school and we had already booked her spring break before I took this job. So I will be going to TN for the week of April 1-7. Got 2 weeks of spring break this year!

That sound like fun to me but Sweet Petunia wouldn't go for sleeping on the ground. Is there dehydrated Bud Light?

sleeping on the ground takes some getting used to - gotta get the right type of sleeping pad.

No dehydrated Bud light -there is dehydrated alcohol powder in different flavors that you can mix with water - I've never tried it though. My husband will take a small bottle of whiskey or Bourbon and I usually take wine - I carry the wine in a "Playpus PlatyPreserve" bottle made just for keeping wine good to drink on the trail :)

We are the last week of March. My family is coming to spend the week with me and the tiny one. They want to take my little one to a bunch of Easter egg hunts but trying to teach a 1.5 year old how to put plastic eggs into a basket is a lot harder than I imagined it would be!

I LIKED this to show you I read it.

I don't LIKE these plans for you.

Hang in there.

Angiogram??? Hope all is well there.

We are kidless for the first four days (she has a school trip to Chicago...in March...whooeee that's cold). Then we travel south for three college visits.

If you head to UNC Chapel Hill or Clemson, let me know. Maybe one of my Kids can give a tour.

3:00 on March 23rd-April 8th. I'm picking up a few days at the PRN job, then going to Great Wolf Lodge, which is more for me and the hubs than the kids. I love that place.

Mine starts Friday at 4:25! I am so ready; the kids are so ready. Ever been in a high school the week before spring break? They start getting very mouthy! Mad at the nurse because she won't send them home. C'mon! You have a day and a half left...

Oooh that turned into a mini-rant. Sorry. I have no plans..rest...relax...read.

My spring break officially begins tomorrow at 1130 am. Thanks to the boys basketball team making it to state once more!!! Go Tigers!!

At 1.5y/o my daughter just picked dandelions! Not an egg in her basket, but the newspaper photographer thought it was adorable and got a great shot of her picking flowers!
