I sent my application to the board of Nursing last week. It was actually submitted to the Post Office on Saturday, but it went out on Monday. I know my application has been received, as it shows online that it's pending. But how long will it stay pending? When should I call the board of Nursing office to follow up on my application? I didn't know this would take so long.

I would check your BON's website and see if says approximately how long application process takes. I know in my licensing state, they said it usually takes 4-6 weeks but plenty of students received their ATT letters in a more timely manner.

I called them 5 times and they just kept saying "we are behind....we are behind"....Shouldn't they be prepared for that this time of year. There were no dates available for a while.

Hi whichone'spink! Just wondering what the status of your application is now. I am having the same problem as you. Is your application assigned to a licensing specialist yet? If so how many days did it take for them to assign you to a licensing specialist? My application was received June 18th and right now it says it's pending but still not assigned to a licensing specialist. I am getting really worried.
