When to give Letters of Recommendation?

Published

I applied for an internship position online. I submitted my resume and cover letter online as well. I am now scheduled for an interview. I have 3 letters of recommendation, one from a previous supervisor, and 2 from clinical instructors. I feel that my LORs will greatly help my application, and I really would like the manager to have a copy. My questions are:

1. When should I hand LORs over? Before the interview begins or after?

2. Should I give them another copy of my resume?

Ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I say bring everything with you (like a portfolio), but don't give the resume again unless they ask and I think if you want to give the letters (copies), then do it after the interview for them to look over on their own time. That's just my opinion though.
