Hi, sorry I can't give any info on the hospital but I am looking into moving to Pensacola and was wondering what the pay rates are like there? Did they tell you what starting pay was with the offer, if you don't mind me asking? I'm not from the state at all so just trying to get more info before I move.

I actually have an interview there on Monday. I'm a new RN and moved here from CA. How was your interviewing experience? And may I ask, what was the pay they offered you? I know CA's payscale is much higher, so I want to know what realistic pay rate to ask for. Don't know many people in the area yet, so I don't have anyone to get this insider info from. I don't want to ask for too much, but I don't want to get low-balled either. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

As a new grad, you'll likely not be negotiating anything. Most hospitals in Florida have a set payscale especially for new grads.
