whats the difference b/w NLNAC accredited

and CCNE accredited? which is better and does it matter?

The NLN is the National League for Nursing. CCNE is the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The NLNAC accredits undergraduate programs only -- diploma, ADN, and BSN programs. The CCNE accredits BSN and graduate programs only. So, diploma and ADN programs would only be NLNAC accredited, graduate programs will only have CCNE accreditation, and BSN programs can have either or both.

Neither is "better"; it's just a matter of what type of program it is. Eiither accreditation is acceptable, and vastly preferable to an unaccredited program.

The NLNAC also accredits LPN/LVN programs.
