What's the best way to go about declining a phone interview?

After doing a little more research on a recent camp nursing position that I recently applied for I decided that salary wise and due to the time frame of employment (end of June to August) that this would not be the right fit for what I am looking for.

What's the best way to go about responding via email to decline a phone email?

Just say that you are no longer interested in the position. No big deal.

I'd just call them up and say you are no longer interested. I just declined an position I interviewed for this way - just a quick call to the manager saying that I appreciated her interviewing me, but that I didn't feel that position was going to be a good fit. It wasn't a big deal at all.
