I have a Cardiology III and I am in love with it. I think it's the best stethoscope. However, it is a little pricey -- BUT, it is discounted if you have Amazon Prime member.

I personally would wait to purchase a good, pricey stethoscope until after graduation because the nice ones tend to develop legs and walk off...

Cheapies are just fine for school. Prestige stethoscopes are affordable and have good sound, and will get you through school for about $20 or less.

I last bought an MDF and it works just as great as my Littman.

plus the colors are stylish... mine is all black everything.

Master cardiology is better than the cardiology iii in my opinion. I have trouble hearing and the Master Cardiology is the best one I have tried. It's pricey but I found it online for like $220. You get what you pay for in stethoscopes a lot of times.
