Congratulations on your acceptance to LPN school!!!
There are many jobs a nursing student can do, but I believe the best job is CNA. You will be delegating to them when you graduate. It will give you a better understanding of what their job is like. Plus, you will get to work alongside nurses. When I was a CNA, the nurses would pull me aside to let me see different procedures being done. Some were great about teaching. I also learned how to prioritize with a high CNA to patient ratio.

Some other ideas:
1. Tech at a drug/alcohol treatment facility. You observe drug administration, administer breathalyzers, collect urine samples, monitor activities, etc.
2. Home health aide. Similar to CNA, but in the patient's home. Also, hospice aide.
3. ED tech. A lot of times, they have more training than a CNA, but they get to do a lot! I always wished I knew about this before nursing school.
4. Monitor tech. Monitor heart rhythms. No direct patient contact, but you'll know heart rhythms like the back of your hand
5. Dialysis tech. Again, requires more training, but something to look at, especially if you have an interest in dialysis.
Good luck!
