No, seriously now, what clinical areas is everyone interested in working in after graduation????
I'm just worried that I'm the only person who hasn't made a definite decision on what I'm interested in. I work on a cardiac unit (as an LPN) at a smaller hospital, and have been contacted by a larger hospital regarding a position in cardiac ICU after graduation. I already have been trained on reading EKGs, cardiac and IV meds, and am taking ACLS in a couple of months.
I really like cardiac nursing, but since I have been in school, I have been interested in labor and delivery.
Does anyone else have this problem, decided what they really want to do:confused:

I started this whole "journey" so that eventually I can call myself a "Certified Nurse Midwife" however, as the journey continues I have decided to keep my mind and my heart open - we'll see - cross that bridge when it is in front of me and not a moment before. (I am however totally excited about my OB rotation this Spring!)
