I just did a review of systems, etc. We do have an NCLEX Forum at: https://allnurses.com/forums/f197/ , so drop by there, too.

i used many many books....but the one that i thought was most like boards was
strategies for passing the nclex-pn 2006-2007 by kaplan.
i also ordered the $79.00 question and answer bank on kaplan.com
they really prepared me for boards. i recommended this book to my friends and to my prior lpn teachers to give to the new incoming class.
i passed boards with 85 questions....know your meds. i had alot of questions that just named meds, and asked what it was used for or what the adverse effects were. good luck

i started studying for boards about six months into my program. my teachers made us start then, and turn in the results each marking period. but once i was out of school, i probably practiced about 150 questions a day. i took boards in march, so it added up to about three and a half months of 150 questions a day.

People who have passed the LPN boards What do you think was the most helpful material that you use to study. Any input would be much appreciated.
