People die in hospitals. There is no limit as their age, it can occur at any time. Nursery or geriatrics, or anyplace in between the two.
Unfortunately, mothers do die in the labor room, though quite rare. And there are deaths of babies in the delivery suite, as well as stillborn births.
Perhaps a clinic type setting would be more of what you are looking for.

Hi all!
I am RN from Israel, and hopefully will have RN license from Arkansas State Board of nursing.
During my work in hospital i realized that i am scared like hell of dead bodies.
I am even scared to enter the room where a body is, not to mention taking care of it. Death depresses me and i just cant take it out of my mind for a long time if any patient dies.
Therefore, i guess that i cant work in units where old people are, and maybe even ER, coz deaths happen there a lot too i assume. I am emotionally unable to handle those situations when someome dies.
I think i would enjoy working in nursery, maybe labor room.
Where else in your opinion and experience could be enjoyable to work in my situation? Thanks a lot and thanks for understanding.
