What if you do not think a pt is ready for discharge?

Hi,

I am a student nurse and need a little help answering a question. I have an idea but I would like to hear from nurses and also if you know of a reputable site with good information about this. Thanks.

You are instructed to discharge a patient whose care is no longer being reimbursed, but who you know is not ready for discharge. What do you do?
