What do you think a fair salary would be for a RN?

Honest question here...I keep reading about how nurses are underpaid, what would you consider a fair, reasonable salary for an rn? Maybe this will be too difficult to answer based on how much experience, schooling etc a person has. Maybe base it on what you think your salary should be. Or if you are satisfied with what you are making, share that too.

I dont know, it depends on how hard you are willing to work,you can easily make around 4000 dollars per month if you keep your regular job and work per diem,overtime or even as a home health nurse,there are many opportunities in nursing but you wont get rich just by working on average 40 hr per week.

Nurses love to complain about their pay....ok but you knew you would not make as much as doctors and lawyer makes.You knew about the compensation awaiting you,so you cant blame no one for the choices you made for yourself.If you expect and longing for luxury (you know expensive car,expensive house,trips and some money left in your pockets) you should have had apply to medical school or law school.
