I went to this agency, and the person incharge for nurses told me, that i am very qualified since I have passed all the exams( IELTS & NCLEX) ... all i have to do is sign to an agreement and pay a security bond of 10thousand pesos,...according to that person, this is not a placemnt fee, it is just an assurance that i will not leave them,is that allowed?....

me personally would run. There is no need to pay any money although some agencies do put a clause if you leave before your contract is up you owe money but shouldn't have to put money up first

run away from them. they are not the only agency out there. if they said you " are very much qualified", they will take you right away. no money involved. :nono:

If I were you I won't go thru an agency. You will be tied to a contract for 2-3 years with a minimum rate per hour. You have passed the IELTS and NCLEX anyway.
