What to take with A&P 1 and 2?

Published

My university only allows A&P 1 & 2 to be taking fall and spring semesters. So next fall I am planning to take A&P 1 with Micro, ethics, psych. Then spring semester taking A&P 2 with Lifespan, nutrition, history. Is any of this doable? I also have to take stats, where should I put it...maybe summer school with speech?

Thanks to anyone who offers any suggestions!

I have always heard to take your sciences one at a time. At my school, they make them so hard its almost impossible to take with another science. I took anatomy (which we had to take anatomy and physiology separate) with comp II. Not sure where you are taking your classes but you should ask an advisor. Some of those classes might be difficult to take together. I thought nutrition, psych, and history were quite easy, so those might be good to take with your a&p classes but not sure if taking micro would be too much for you. Micro, anatomy, and physiology took lots of study time for me. Good luck to you! Not sure any of this is helpful to you.

Thank you for taking the time to help. But I will have to take some science together. Unfortunately, That's how the school offers those classes.

Just wondering if better to take micro with A&P 1 or with A&P 2. My advisor has me taking it with A&P 1

I know I will be studying ALOT!

A&P and micro will be very hard to go through in one semester, in addition the psych and ethics (which weren't too bad) but the two first ones are pretty difficult. I took micro in a semester with only one other class, communications. and that was even hard for me (then again, I had a 5 month boy to take care of). Maybe you can pull it off if you don't have any distractions. Just be prepared for the stress >.

Taking it with A&P 2 would be the smarter idea because the program requires that you do really good in A&P 1, so I would just focus on that for one semester, the A&P 2 and micro are for the bachelors which you only need a C+ in i believe. You don't want to take A&P 1 and micro together because then you won't know which one to study for and you might end up not getting the grade you want/need for A&P1 to get accepted into the program. This is just my opinion but it's up to you to decide on that. Think about it.

Good luck if you go through with it!

ok, thanks for your suggestions, very helpful! May also be taking speech, stats in summer. For my last spring semester, maybe I should take A&P 2, micro, along with possibly nutrition, lifespan, stats,or history 2. Any suggestions which one to switch with the micro that I was going to take in the fall? I think I am going to switch out ethics(take it next semester) with sociology for the fall. Thanks again to anyone who replies! :)

I took A&P 1, micro, stats, and lifespan last spring. Then A&P 2, nutrition, and govt in the summer. You can do anything you set your mind to!!!

I'm taking stats right now and it seems pretty easy so far. Then again, it is your choice on which classes you want/need to take. And ethics isn't too bad either.

I'm taking A&P II with Micro and barely surviving. If you think it's really necessary to take 2 sciences together, take Micro with A&P I. If you can, take them separately.

I would take nutrition during summer to dedicate all your time to that class and speech during a regular semester with your other classes.
