I applied in February of this year to a ASN nursing program for the clinical portion to start in the fall. At that time, I was still in my senior year of high school and had only one prerequisite (sp?) completed, so I wasn't really expecting to get into clincals that fall. Yet, Saturday I received the acceptance letter in the mail. I was shell shocked. The problem is that this school is an hour away and I would have to pay 1700 a year after my scholarships, plus clinical fees, etc. Also, I have a scholarship at a four year institution that covers all my tuition and books, and it is only 25-30 minutes away depending on traffic. I have one and a half years of prerequisites to do there before I can apply to clinicals. So, while I am wanting to go here because I would have no expenses, I am still torn.
Any advice?
