What style scrub top do you wear?

I'm now required to wear solid color scrubs, so a shopping I must go. In the past I wore a three-pocket top, with a manly print, and all custom made. One upper pocket and two lower pockets. Very functional in the ER because of all the junk we carry around.

I need ideas on different styles that are also functional. One pocket? Many pockets? Scrub tops? Or maybe those zipper shirts that look like a barber would wear?

Ideas please!

Not sure this will help but Landau (http://www.landau.com/) offers a 5 pocket male top as well as a few different styles of pants that may come in handy.

You may just want to do a simple search on google to see some of what's being offered now.

Nice top with the pockets, but not offered in Royal Blue.

I was mainly interested in personal recommendations of what style top other men are wearing and why. Functionality is the key here, since they've thrown my fashion sense out the window!

Has anyone tried the scrubs made by Aviator?

I absolutely LOVE the Aviator scrubs...is all I wear and I get tons of compliments on them. Only ones I found to be long enough and all the pockets come very handy in the ED...plus the pen's in the sleave is very usefull. They are made very sturdy and have not been able to stain them yet. (I don't work for them and get no kickbacks, although Aviator if your reading this I'll take some free scrubs any day :))

Thanks for the reply. Aviator was the only company I could find with a top with lots of pockets in Royal Blue. I didn't want to spend $22 on a top without some feedback.

Life Uniforms has a line for guys called "Life Tech," I got one of their tops in navy. 3 pockets, plus a couple accessory pockets (suitable for scissors, trauma shears, or forceps), and it has a major ventilation flap across the back that secures with velcro. It's done pretty well for me so far...
