What a story!

Whew! The stories we could tell....what is one of YOUR best stories? Doesn't necessarily have to be funny. What patient or situation has impacted you as a nurse?

I was coming in for my shift at 7PM, sitting at the desk getting report when a 5"3", 375# man post OHS came running, sans clothes (visitors in the hallway) highly agitated towards we nurses. I worked with another male who was fairly new, and he happened to be standing to my right. I said, "OK, Bob, on three grab his arm". One, Two, Three.... I grabbed his right arm and on his left, no Bob. Luckily I deflected a weak off arm swing. Luckily the 98# nurse stepped in to help me The applause we received from visitors watching this was worth it.
