Apparently there was a trace of succinylcholine in the manifold that I unknowingly pushed in by giving an IV narcotic. Pt had to be bagged for a few minutes but he did just fine.The moral of the story is - get rid of the anesthesia manifold. Disconnect and flush your lines.
