What does R&R stand for?

Referring to mental health, if someone is on R&R what does that stand for?

I am in Australia if that makes a difference.

Rest and relaxation! Funny I saw the headline and though t it was sarcasm! Glad you cleared it up! I figure not a lot of us remember what r&r is even if we do know what it stands for!

Just for any nursing students that Google what and R&R is and fine this, it is actually an order under the mental health act which stands for Request & Referral or Recomendations. This order means that a person can be held for 24hrs from the time and date that order has been signed so they can be seen by clinicians and their mental health will be assessed and the patient may go on to be on an ITO or Voluntary depending on the reccomendations.
