Hello,

Can anyone help me out? If you started out taking an LPN class and decide to start RN (not the bridge program), do any of the classes taken count towards any RN pre-req's? For ex: Health Core - Basic Patient Care - Life Span - Articulated Nursing - Pharm 1 - Nutrition - Nursing Arts. Thank You!!

Just curious but why are you not taking the bridge/articulation?

These classes do not count for anything if you are not taking the bridge and thats why most people prefer to do the bridge program, its also 1 year shorter than the RN program since they take into account that you attended LPN school for 1 year

The advisers at the various schools of nursing in your area will be able to accurately answer your question.

The bridge program is for people that have completed an LPN program and have the license. It sounds like the OP started the program but didn't complete it.

Class requirements vary by school so you'd have to contact the individual nursing programs for a concrete answer.
