What organs are in each of the 4 quadrants?

Published

We are going to be testing on this in my patho class and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good website that listed in detail all the organs and parts of organs in each of the 4 quadrants of the abdomen. He wants us to know that the liver is in the URQ and part of it is in the ULQ. Not the general location but the actual location if that makes sense. I have tried to google it but I am coming up with conflicting information. Some have the upper and lower 2 quads separated at the naval and some have it about an inch above the naval which could put some organs in a different quad from the other sites. He isnt going to give us the organs and their place but expects us to do that ourselves. Now I wouldnt have a problem doing this if there was a standard for the quads but since there is variances I am finding this difficult to do. Maybe I am looking too much into it but I want to be thorough. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Best wishes to you on your exam! :)

Thank you both for you suggestions and support. I have compiled my list and I hope it is sufficient for my Quiz. It is actually extra credit which I need LOL so I am trying to be as thorough as I can. I posted my list as a new thread if anyone is interested in checking it out and seeing if I left off anything. Again thanks you two!
