Currently trying to figure out what is the best route to obtain my RN or BSN as a second degree student.
So just to provide some context...
Graduated with my Bachelors in Economics about
So fast forward to now, I am currently taking some pre-reqs at my local community college here in NYC and have been doing really well Ace-ing my key courses and and should be finish with all the required courses by the end of Spring 2019. However, I know that the nursing program is super competitive and I feel that my courses from my undergrad might hurt my chances.
My plan is to finish and apply to our RN program here at CUNY or maybe some other schools in the area, but wondering what is the best route for me and what are my chances. I would ideally like to do a BSN or ABSN program somewhere, but wonder if my GPA would even be good enough to get in or if there are any alternatives.
If anyone has any advice on the matter, especially in the NYC area, that would be great!
Thanks
