What is your opinion on calling in "sick"

Do you ever call in sick to work just to take a day away from the job because its so stressful and you are on the verge of tears every time you go in?

I've called in sick once in the past 7 years. Another time I was sent home when my boss said I didn't seem like myself and I said I wasn't feeling too great. She took my temperature and it was 102. No wonder I didn't feel so good!

If you are truly ill and/or working would put others at risk, you should stay home, definitely.
