I graduated from Nursing School and sent in my application to Michigan on November 25th and received a letter from them with my customer number on December 4th. It's now almost a month later and I still don't have a test date. The website has said they are reviewing my application for 2 weeks now. It's only 2 pages how long does it take. I'm getting so frustrated that I'm going to forget everything, and it's so hard to study anymore because it feels like I'm never going to get to take this test. All i've been doing lately is reading my Kaplan strategies book and questions. What has everyone's experience been with the NCLEX and Michigan?

Have you called your school and asked which date they sent your transcripts to the state? I don't know how long the whole process should take, we were just told that it all depends on how busy the state is at the time and how timely your school sends in the verification that you graduated.
The transcripts were mailed out the same day as my application, they cashed my check on December 4th also. It's funny how fast they take your money and leave you with nothing still. You would think with the Nursing shortage they would want to speed things up. I guess all I can do is wait...

I graduated and sent in all my info immediately in May and did not test till the first week in July. I used Saunders NCLEX study guide and also Lippincotts. I passed my first go round with the NCLEX (and I am not one of those people who usually do well on tests). Have faith ....you will hear from them. Good Luck to you.:balloons:

I graduated Dec. 21 and my paperwork was sent off that same day. It took about three weeks but I got an acknowledgement two weeks after and a test date one week later. You should keep checking your email because thats where your first correspondence will come through.
