What med-surg book do you use?

Published

Just a little informal poll here.... I took my med-surg HESI this week and did ok. I scored lower than I anticipated but I'll have an A in the class and that makes me super happy.

Anyway, I was looking through the review materials and references and the book my program uses was never mentioned. There were two that were repeatedly referenced and it made me wonder if the students that used those other two books scored higher on the HESI / NCLEX.

Do any of y'all use the Linton med-surg book? I bought study guide book with the Evolve logo on it but when I got it opened it is a companion book and has no answers in it. It seems like a good study guide but is useless to me if I can't verify the answers to anything.

My school used Iggy for the last few years, but switched to Lewis for my class. I like it very much; it's well organized, easy to understand, good sized font and not terribly repetitive. It comes as either a single volume or a two volume, which is the one I have. There's also a pocket sized companion as well as software available in case you don't want to lug the full size to clinicals.

This is the one my school uses.
