What kind of grading scale does your program have??

I was just wondering what kind of grading scale everyone is on for their nursing program... I am in an ADN program and we have to receive an 80% in all nursing classes.. but the 80% is a C. I personally think this is kind of ridiculous and many students in my program have told me this is not the case elsewhere... So I'm just curious! =)

I am in a BSN program:

A: 90-100

B: 80-89

C: 75-79

Below a 75 is failing

A = 93-100

B = 85-92

C = 78-84

77 or below you have failed

No way to get extra credit only assignments and tests count

Interesting to see all the different grading scales. I've always been curious of others as well.

My nursing program's grading scale has be altered since last year. It is now:

92-100%= A outstanding

84-91%= B above average

73-83%= C meets minimum standards

anything below 73%= F not passing

For our mid-term and final (which are computerize tests), we must have at least a 70% average conversion score.

Therefore, we must have at least have a 75% in Clinical, 75% in Didactic, and 70% in Exams in order to pass.
