Maybe try to figure out what you really like about your current job and focus on what would get ahead doing that?

If you want to stay in the emergency department, I see you have 3 options.
- Management such as charge nurse
- advance role like NP
- or as a educator for the department.
Decide which area is more you and go for it. Or if you want to leave ED, you need to go explore you options first.
