What happens if you fail????

What happens if you fail out of a nursing school course? I see posts on here in which this has happened to people, but what do you do? You get kicked out and then you reapply all brand new to the program or do you get to try again the next semester no matter what?

Also........for those of you that got pregnant in nursing school or had to take a break for a different reason....how does that work? Do you tell them you need a semester off and that is it or what?

Just curious. :)

Yeah I think the not being able to get into another program is the real problem. On the other hand if you transfer after the first semester...... You have the good grades from that school always. If you fail at the new school, then you never have to mention that school......

I think that thier policies about kicking people out were in place long before it got so desperate out there.....They did it with the knowledge that you could get into another program....

This is something I am wrestling with right now. I am in good standing currently, it the worst program in my state.......should I withdraw now, and save what I have done, or put it all on the line to finish in one more year?
