I am currently enrolled in an Associates Degree CMA program, but in the Fall of 2012, I will be accepted into a LPN diploma program (12 months.) I like the CMA program thus far, so I don't really want to drop it. I was thinking of taking the evening courses of the LPN program, so that I can do both at the same time. However, I think that might cause an information overload. Another thing is that in the Fall of 2013 I will be starting an Associates Degree Nursing program, so I was thinking I would just hold off on the LPN program since I will be taking RN classes a couple of months after I graduate. Also, I would have two Associate Degrees which I suppose I can add to my resume and make my achievement wall look more impressive, and a chance for employment on a national level. The LPN program would prepare me for the RN program perhaps a bit more though. What do you think?

I am in an LPN program and can barely find time to shave my legs. I have no idea where I even found the time to post this to you...

I think you should just hold out til the ADN program starts, if you know you are getting in. Why are you doing the CMA if you are starting an RN program?
I am doing to occupy my time I suppose. I can't start the RN program until 2013, so I have to do something until then :)

If your CMA studies will overlap some of your LPN studies I'd say hold off on the LPN and just wait to get your RN. You will be saving yourself a few bucks in the long run in student loans.
When I was in my LPN program they have you learn so much information in a very short peroid of time. You barely have time to see your friends because all you are ever doing is studying and stressing. Depending on your school they need you to keep a certain grade in the class or you will not be able to go to the next term.
My theme song for school was REM's, 'It's the end of the world.'
