What are good resources to help study/pass NCLEX-RN?

Published

I am in my 4th and last semester of nursing school. I have the NCLEX Mastery app, full features but it's mehh to me.

i was told UWorld is "REALLY" great. And then I keep seeing that NRSNG program and he compared his program to UWorld and other programs stating/showing his program had a lot more to offer and that it's affordable than the others .. but he charges like over $400 for the full program or $49/mo which is ridiculous!! But you get what you pay for.

i just want a program I can use that has videos (I'm hearing impaired, completely deaf in my right ear. So visual learning is big for me), has easy to understand rationales, unlimited self test questions, THOUSANDS of questions to study with, etc. etc.

i bought an NCLEX book that's up to date, it's a popular one. Idk the name off the top of my head but I don't like it much because it only gives like 10-15 questions max per topic which I feel doesn't help me at all, I want a lot of questions per topic so that they're never the same.

And a program that has study materials, like pharm (which I did okay in last year, but I don't remember most of the meds. It was so hard and I feel that's a weakness of mine, along with PEDS/OB/Psych/Mental Health).

also .. when is it best to start studying for the NCLEX? People have said weeks before graduating, some say now, some say right after graduation. I only ask because if I were to study now and use the UWorld, it'll cost me MORE for a long subscription vs. purchasing it later into the semester.
