Our school still hasn't sent out acceptance letters but I am acting as though I received a positive reply. I have set up a bookshelf with my old textbooks and notes, paper, pens, pencils, highlighters, 3 hole punch, recorder, binders, TEAS prep materials, ruler, calculator. I cleaned out my backpack. I have started menu planning, signed up for my CRP/AED class which I take in June and have started studying for the TEAS which I am a bit worried about. I have planned the kids camps and our vacations around school start date. I have signed up for medical math and am reviewing physio. Next I am putting together my supply kit for being away all day and my lunch menus so I can have healthy meals planned. If I don't get in, I will take the last few classes I need for my BSN and then reapply next year. Oh and I did get the NCLEx review as another poster suggested and have been doing practice questions just for fun. I like that it includes the rationale behind the answer so if I get it wrong, I can read why. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised to be getting many right. THe final thing is I am going to do is write myself a contract for staying healthy and getting my exercise/meditation in daily. I refuse to let my hard work slide.
Let me know what you are doing!
