Hello, may I solicit advices again on what is the first thing to do, apply first for eligibility or review? I am planning to apply in NM, I learned that it is fast there.

It depends on how much time you think you can review effectively for the NCLEX. If you think you can review for less than 4-5 months then you may want to start applying for eligibilty ASAP. Most BONs require you to take the NCLEX w/in 90 days of issuing your Eligibility letter so that leaves you less than 4-5 months to review if the BON issues your eligibility in say 2 months time.

You may also may want to consider doing a formal comprehensive review class since you've been away for 10 years. (Just my honest opinion though.)

You need to honestly assess yourself if you can do a self-review or you need a comprehensive review programme (w/c may take longer). Some have limited funds so they make sure they pass their NCLEX the 1st time around. Never mind if they have to review some more months rather take it hastily and fail. It's expensive to go to HK or Taiwan, Saipan, etc.. becauase of the airline fares and accomodations plus an additional $150 for non-US territories. So, really up to you.

Goodluck. ;)

Thanx Lawrence, I am planning to enrol at kaplan. You are a great help. Thank you so much.
