Hello Everyone ,
Today I got a call from my recruiter and she offered me a job at Adult Observation Unit . I am very excited& anxious at a same time . Its been a while I graduated from nursing school . This will be my first job in Hospital settings as a nurse . So,I am little nervous too . Can you please share what can I expect in that unit , what do I need to do from my side to prepare myself before starting my job. I am going to start in 10 days from now .
Any words will be appreciated .
Thank you.

Congrats on your new job. For all intensive purposes, this is a med/surg position. With that in mind, as someone else said in another thread, come up with a good brain sheet that works for you. That way you can organize your day and be efficient. Ask alot of questions and try to get involved in anything interesting on the unit to enhance your orientation experience.
Thank you so much.
