When I hear someone talking about an OR nurse, or they generally talking about the nurses pre & post surgery? Or is an OR nurse actually in the operating room during the surgeries?

An OR nurse is the nurse in the actual operating room. Pre and post surgery nurses can be pre-op, PACU (recovery room) or post-op (typically day surgery). OR nurses can function as a circulator (not part of the sterile field) or scrub (part of the sterile field). There are many threads about what an OR nurse does in this forum- take a look around and explore!
