What are the differances in "levels" ....

I have read things about nurses working in a level 1 facility, and have seen articles on level 3 facilities... what does this mean? Is it related to the security risk of the IM? Someone please clarify

They are talking about security levels of the facility. Level 1 -2 in minimal security level. Level 3-4 is moderate to low maximum security and level 5 are max secuity inmates, usually capital cases.

BTW how was your 1st week as a correctional nurse?
