What is your definition of "nursing"?

Published

If you wouldn't mind helping a nursing student out with an assignment...

In a brief statement, what does "nursing" mean to you? Please include your role in the healthcare field (LPN, RN, CNA, etc).

Many thanks in advance!

Maybe you should start the discussion by stating what YOUR thoughts are on that topic and let us react to that and add our comments to yours. Many of us prefer to help with these types of student assignments that way - rather than to just do the assignment from scratch ourselves.

That is the assignment. I'm supposed to ask RNs and LPNs how they would define nursing. I then evaluate the definitions in comparison to your role in healthcare. If I offer what I think nursing is, it may skew your view...therefore, I didn't put anything.

I am in no way trying to get someone to do my assignment for me. I am highly committed to my schoolwork and want nothing more than to be a great nurse. I apologize if I came off as a lazy student, but infact, I am the complete opposite. I just spent 2 days working on a very detailed care plan and I am wiped! If you can help me out, great! If you can't, no worries.

Thanks.

Jenny
