Im sure you all have days where the stress can be overwhelming. So, when its time to go home....what do you do to transition or destress? I like to play guitar, garden or crank up the radio and sing like Im on American Idol.......LOL

I hear ya. I look forward to going to work now. No ringing cell phone, an excuse not to check my email, no loud neighbors.I de-stress by slapping some Godsmack in my CD player and screaming along with them.

That's great, I'm the same way!! hard rock is total mood music!
also like to exercise, play guitar, work on and ride my motorcycle. play with my kids, etc. but yeah, work is less stressful than home sometimes.

I chase my cat around the room. No kidding. Great destresser, watching the cat run in circles!
I also like to read (yes, books that are not r/t nursing still exist!), play PC games occasionally and go to the beach when I really need a breather. Something about walking along the ocean, alone, really helps me take a breath and catch up with myself.
