I was an alternate last year and didn't get in, don't know which number I was though. Finally got in this year and first semester is almost over. The problem with alternates is that it requires someone to not accept the seat they were offered or to drop out very early on for you to be accepted. If they drop out midway through the semester (which many do) you have already missed too much material. Good luck, hope you get good news.

Hi,
I'm currently an alternate student at TCC in Tallahassee, fl and the wait is killing me because I don't know when and if I will get into this program. I need words of encouragement and more insight to the whole process of the likelyhood of and alternate student making it into the program of nursing.
