Hello, I am waiting for acceptance into an LPN program, however it does not begin until October. Does anyone know if their are any on-the-job training or any other opportunities to take at Newton Medical Center or Rockdale Hospital, I near Covington, Georgia? I am volunteering at one of those hospitals, but I have more time that I can spare ( I only have to take 3 classes between now and October) and if I could make money and learn at the same time then that would be even better. If anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful. Thank you.

you say you want to make money and learn at the same time..
Why not take a job as a nurses aide? Or take a CNA (certified nurses aide) course? This way you can work as an aide and get some experience!
Other then that, I say read a book to pass the time!! Once nursing school starts, all you have time for is nursing books!
honestly, I'd look into being a nurses aide. Contact nurse recruiters at hospitals, and just see what they say. Some require a semester of expereince as a student first, but if you can get into a CNA course that might give you a foot in the door. Expecially talk to the nurse recruiter at the hospital you volunteer at!!
Good luck :
