help!!!
Hi, I'm an x-ray student and need help with film critique. Does anyone know of any computer programs that can help me with this. I need to be quizzed and my teacher says it's not her responsibility. Reading the text books just aren't helping too much. Thanks for any help.

Just tell me flat out if I am out of luck :)
i've dug and i've telephoned. unfortunately, most of the people that i have talked to over the telephone concerning the nursing programs are not helpful for me. they just say apply or talk to admissions. and i did not say that 100% of the people in my area have a 4.0. i said that everyone nearly has a 4.0. i say that because i have done my research. i know that a lot of people read these posts and i thought that there might someone in another state that knows of a less populated area that i could look into. anyway, thanks everyone for all of the replies.

thank you. i appreciate you understanding and not being judgemental like some. i have definitely done my research over and over again. i was just hoping that there was something that i was missing, so that i could get it and get into a program. oh well, i will survive reguardless of what happens because i have the lord.

where? do you know of a school that i have a chance at?

i've searched out every school in my state. they are all the same. you need to have a least at 2.5 gpa, but everyone has nearly a 4.0 gpa. so, that means that i'm rejected again.

Ok, I tell myself that I am just going to focus on something else, but I keep coming back to the thought of one day being a nurse. I have a 3.2 GPA at a technical college for the LPN program and less that at a 4 year college. With a GPA of 3.2, do I have any chance whatsoever of getting into an LPN program? If so then WHERE???? Doesn't anyone know of some secret school out in the boondocks where there is no competition?

I give up on waiting and I need a new plan
yes, i work as a pharmacy tech at a hospital. i have not heard of anything like that in georgia. everything is by gpa or a waiting list.

I give up on waiting and I need a new plan
i have been searching for a long time to find a program that is easy to get into. the thing is is that every school has different requirements and i've emailed a lot of schools to see what their lowest gpa of the last class was and they are also not very cooperative. it can drive a person crazy googling tons of schools. i've done it. :) there is a rad tech school in s.c. that accepted someone with a gpa of only 2.9 last year, so i am going to apply to that college and see what happens. i need to work on something until then though just in case. i may try network specialist as a major for a backup plan.

I give up on waiting and I need a new plan
Thanks everyone for your replies. I have been going to college since 18 and I'm just anxious to do something that I like. I believe, after having my mind set on nursing for years, that I would rather be a rad tech. I am a pharmacy tech right now, in which I got my training from the army and spent 4 years of active duty, but I don't like it. I am going to continue to try and get into rad tech school next year, but I'm afraid that I'm just going to be rejected again and have my life put on hold. I can relocate since I have the GI Bill, it's just overwhelming sometimes to try and try and never get anywhere and there is just sooo much competition and I am not the brightest star out there. Anyway, I'm just venting a little bit now I think. If anyone knows of any school that is not so hard to get into then please let me know. I need a jump start. Thanks

I give up on waiting and I need a new plan
the reason that i have decided to do something else is because i have all of the pre-requisites completed for nursing and radiology, but the schools are really competitive in georgia and i cannot get in at this time. i do not know if i will ever get in, so i need to come up with something else to support myself. i am single, so i can go to school without any problems, but i just don't know what to get into that isn't competive, but has a good future.

I give up on waiting and I need a new plan
Hi, I have given up for right now on nursing school and radiology school, so I need an idea for something that I can make a living doing? I've thought about medical coding and billing. Does anyone know anything about this profession? Do they make good or decent money? Is it easier to get a job with a degree in this or will a certificate be fine? I would like to have a job that I can do at home? Can you get business easily working from home? I just need to figure something out that I might enjoy and quit stressing about things. Does anyone have any ideas on other things that looks good for the future, but doesn't take forever to complete in school? Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
