I like Nursing made incredibly easy and I'm a new grad too. It's easy to read, has a ton of pictures and covers a lot of specialties. My only complaint is that it's really expensive for only 6 issues per year. But I save them and go back and re-read them later, so I think it's justified for the use I get out of them.
Those are all good journals to subscribe to. In addition to print versions, you get access to online archives for all of them, so you can find and save articles on specific topics straight to your computer.
In addition, once you do have a specialty, it never hurts to get a journal or two in your specialty area.

h hello everyone! i am a brand new rn
(passed the nclex 2 weeks ago), and i am thinking about subscribing to a nursing journal or two. i would like to hear your opinions/reviews of the different journals out there (ajn, nursing 2011, nursing made incredibly easy). i am currently applying for jobs now so i do not have a 'specialty' yet. i would like to know what you like and dislike about certain journals, and which would be good for a new grad. your opinions are greatly appreciated! thank you!
