What to do about this anxiety?!

I have ten days until my exam and I have such bad anxiety I feel like nothing is sinking in anymore. I go to the gym, do yoga, deep breath, stay away from caffeine and negative people, eat healthy, drink water, see a therapist, pray, meditate, have supportive friends and have a set schedule. And still my heart is thumping in my chest. I am so frustrated about it! What else can I do? I feel like I know nothing... :crying2: Just looking for some encouragement I guess.

Well, it sounds as if you are doing all the things one does for anxiety. Maybe your doctor could prescribe something mild. Many people take something before the big test. Wishing you good luck.

I'll bet you know a LOT more then you realize...I'm in the same boat as you and I KNOW stress can really do a number on you. Keep doing everything you're doing and BELIEVE in yourself- put little sticky notes up w/ positive sayings on them...anything that will help! You CAN do this!! :icon_hug:

Thanks! The positive sticky notes is a great idea-- I'll do that today ;) Thanks for all the advice...feeling better today. . . It is amazing how much stress this exam can generate. I am starting to accept the fact that I really cannot know it all and that I probably do know more than I think. Thanks for that reminder!

Thanks all! Turns out, even though I had a crazy sleepless night before my exam this morning, I eventually calmed down. I had a thousand different things to help me (prayer and much good advice from here and friends) and it did! I sat down to take the exam and next thing you know, I am just doing it! ahhh...to be done is nice...to wait, not so much! But at least no more studying (hopefully) ;)
