Hey everyone:

I am back again! I got denied for Spring 2019, so I am reapplying in hopes I get in this time around.

This go 'round, I am applying to TWU, UTH, and possibly HCC. I am looking for more schools I can qualify for. I have finished all my prerequisites, so for now, I am just relaxing (sort of )!

Science GPA- 3.81

TEAS:

Math-100%

Reading- 83%

Science- 80.9%

Hello! I just submitted my application on Monday. This is my first go around and I’m so nervous! I only have 2 more classes to complete my bachelor pre requisites. My overall GPA is a 3.2, only 2 C’s but they sure are killing me lol. And my teas scores are:

Reading: 89.4

Math: 93.8

Science: 74.5

English: 91.7

Hey! Dont sweat it too much. The wait time unfortunately will drive you crazy! So good thing you are taking classes. Very best wishes to you and hope you get accepted. Last year we found out end of Sept so hopefully it will be the same this time or sooner.

I went to hand deliver my application and the secretary told me we should know in September if we get picked for an interview in October, then we should find out in November if we are accepted. It sounds like I’m going to be driven crazy for a while lol. Have you done an interview before?

From what I know they do not do interviews, unless this is something new that they are implementing. My friend is in the program now, she started in Jan. 2019. and she did not do an interview either. The waiting time is a KILLER!!! My anxiety would get so bad and I would be checking daily and sometimes multiple times a day

Disregard the last post. I am on a few and I thought this was for UT ? and cannot delete my last response. Any who, when I applied here last year they did not do an interview. I have spoken to a student who is currently in her 2nd semester of the program and she said they were going to begin an interview process moving forward. Last year we found out at the end of Sept if we were accepted or not.

I like them though, they are very helpful and informative. I have never had any issues trying to get in touch with someone or having a question answered.

I talked to a student who applied last semester and was told she did an interview and it was the first time they’d ever done it. As far as I know, we are the only school who does them. I was pretty relaxed the past week, but now that September is here, I’m going CRAZY checking my email on a daily basis, multiple times a day. But it’s good to know that they are helpful with questions. I’m so nervous. It hasn’t felt real until now.

I applied last year and felt the exact same, so much anxiety!! I am excited and ready. I am also applying to Alvin. It is about 40 min from my house but I just rather try my chances anywhere I can.

Well I really hope you get picked up by a nursing program! You seem really dedicated. I really hope they email us this week or next week saying if we get an interview. I feel like we’re getting so close!!

That is sweet, I appreciate that. I hope we both get in! I really hope to hear from them this month. I try to not focus on it so much but it is hard. I wish we would find out acceptance instead of interview but either way I would have to wait for the other schools to respond to my apps too. If you find anything out please let me know.

I’ve applied for the Spring 2020 semester as well along with UTHealth and UTMB. I’m taking my last 3 prerequisites this semester so I’ll be applying to TWU if one of these schools doesn’t let me in ?!

Science GPA - 4.0

Overall GPA - 3.97

TEAS - 90.7 overall (90 in science, I’m not sure of the other categories off the top of my head!)

I hand delivered my application as well and was told to be checking my email about mid to late September ?. Good luck, everyone!

Wow!! There is no way you will not get in somewhere!!! Those are amazing scores! I am so anxious to get a notification from them already. I really want a yes from at least one of the schools I applied to. So I am assuming if you do not get an email about an interview then you are automatically denied??
