I feel that having a reevaluation of your transfer credits might benefit you, especially with the microbiology course. I attempted to do this with a few of my classes and it didn't pan out...but that doesn't mean it won't for you. Make sure you have adequate information to support why you feel the classes can be covered by one from your ADN classes. Also if a class was used for a different WGU class they won't use it twice. Go for it though, it can't hurt!

I just received my transcripts and got the same results. The reason my micro was rejected was because I didn't have a lab. I want to appeal the health assessment course. I've been a home care nurse for 10 years. If I haven't been assessing patients, what have I been doing? I have also taken a sociology and a health promotion course which I think covers the Behavioral science class. Did you have any luck with your appeal?

I did not appeal, as I have not heard of anyone gaining from this and I did not want to miss my start date. I passed my stats class last week and am working on my Health Assessment course which seems designed for nursing students. If you truly put in the 20+ hours each week I think you should be able to get through about a course a month, but we will see. When is your start date?

Projected start date 4/1 - I had to send a CLEP transcript before they can finish my evaluation. Curious, are you able to get your transcript review and see the courses your required to take BEFORE paying the tuition? I'm a little nervous to take accept my student loan and pay tuition before I know what I am paying for.

I'm supposed to start 4/1 also but I haven't paid yet for the same reasons. I have until March 22nd. I was waiting for the transcript and now I want to talk with my enrollment counselor about how to appeal. I hope 2 weeks will be enough time to finalize this.

I've heard of others completing it in 6 months and that it my goal. I plan to put in 40-60 hrs week and go to work very little.

Obviously each person is different, but I'm going to agree with you that 20+ hours will help you get through courses quickly. I did that or slightly more depending on the week and averaged 1-2 courses a month. Some are more intensive and others less so. My recommendation is to get into a groove and do something school related every day...even if it's just watching a webinar or reading a chapter. I worked primarily PMs while working on my degree and even after work I'd come home and stay up an extra hour doing school stuff. I've got kids in school so it made mornings a bit yucky...but it kept me in check and on task. I'm now working on my MSN and I've been slacking a bit so I'm working hard to get back on track.

Thanks so much for replying to my post? Is there even exams in statistics? Or a final exam? Or just lessons that have to be completed ?

You take a preassessment and have 3 trys if you don't pass you move to the Objective Assessment (Final Exam) a 48 question Test. The objective assessment is the only item you have to pass to complete the course and receive credit. With that said, reading the course of study and doing the webinars is a must in order to pass the objective assessment. I completed the course in 5 weeks, you can complete it quicker if you put in more time.
