WGU Proctored Testing Question

WGU Proctored Testing Question

Hello I wanted to ask about the testing to those who have been enrolled or are enrolled. I understand the tests are proctored via webcam or you can choose to go to a facility, that is all fine. I just wondered are these "open book tests" can you utilize notes, websites, online library etc...? Looking forward to getting started April 1! ?

Definitely not open book, note, etc. The webcam proctors require you do a 360 degree scan of the room prior to starting your exam to make sure you have no notes or anything. They can also cut your exam off if they suspect you are cheating.

Hi Tara, I certainly would never cheat and am very open to proctored exams. I know many institutions allow usage of notes etc...for some exams/tests so was wondering if some of these exams were the same. Thanks for your input.

Wasn't saying that you would cheat, just saying that they do make you scan the room and will shut off your test if they feel it has been compromised (i.e. someone walks in, children running around, you answer the doorbell, etc,). Good luck with everything. I for one loved their entire program and I'm sure you will too.

Thanks Tara, Good to know, if the doorbell rings it won't get answered  lol. I appreciate all tips and info from everyone and am looking forward to the program.
