Hello!
Your best source of information would be WGU itself. I strongly suggest that you contact them directly to find answers to your critical questions. You may start here: Request Information | Western Governors University | Western Governors University
Having said that... I live in Central Florida (Orlando) and one of my coworkers is enrolled in their RN program. As far as I know, he will be traveling for his clinicals. However, I don't know where he lives (if more or less than 2 hours away from DB)... so ask the question to WGU. YOu should get a straight answer without spending a dime.
Hope this helps! :)
Hello, thank you!
I spoke with a WGU enrollment representative and she told me to speak with my enrollment counselor. My enrollment counselor is booked through the end of next week. I scheduled an appointment to speak with her. I will update the thread after speaking to the enrollment counselor.

Hi everyone,
I live in Florida and I recently applied to WGU's prelicensure BSN program. I live approximately 2 hours outside of Daytona. Can anyone offer feedback about the requirements for enrolling in the Daytona cohort? My only concern is not being accepted in the program because I live 2 hours away.
I'm on pins and needles because I have read recent posts from other prospective WGU students in Florida and they were told they are required to live within 1 hour of Daytona for clinicals and labs.
I really don't want to relocate to Daytona just to attend clinicals and lab for 2 weeks every 2 months. I'm more than willing to rent a room for 2 weeks every 2 months. I have read posts dating back 2 years from other WGU students don't live near Daytona but they were still accepted into the program.
Can anyone offer feedback about how this works? And what I should do?
