Finished my MSN in May!

Now looking at the MBA-healthcare program.

Anyone completed it? Any words of wisdom?

Just graduated in June and enjoyed it. What questions did you have? I was in the 'new' program that started later last year - keep that in mind when looking for comments that the program completely changed at that time. :)

How long did it take you? Did you have management/financial background?

Any words of wisdom for getting through the classes faster? What kind of changes were made from "old" to "new"?

It took me three months, which isn't typical, but I have several friends who made it through in under a term. No financial or management background. The old program was all paper-based (performance tasks), whereas the new program is about 1/2 papers and 1/2 objective classes (tests).

After reading through the MSN WGU groups, I personally think the MBA papers are much easier. :p Some people do have problems with the math required, but I'm a math person so I actually did better in those classes than in some of the others, such as marketing. :)

DARN...I think I would rather have papers than tests....much easier to BS ha ha

There are plenty of papers!! :) The tests are in things you'd expect.. accounting, finance, economics, etc. :)

I finished under the "old" program this March. It took me 10 months from start to finish. I posted a thread about it here: https://allnurses.com/western-governors-university/finished-my-mba-978647.html
