Hello all!
I am a current RN working in a level III NICU in Georgia. I am looking to go to an online RN to BSN school and then move on to NP school. Has anyone graduate with Western Governors University BSN and gotten into NP schools? My GPA currently is 3.56 but I know that will go down since WGU works on a pass or fail 3.0 scale.
For reference, I am looking to apply to University of South Alabama- MSN/NP Program

Yes! I got my BSN @ WGU and it was a great experience. I am graduating from University of Cincinnati with my NP in 2weeks! I was accepted at every NP program I applied with my WGU degree without issue. Good luck 😊
Do you mind me asking what was your cumulative GPA was after finishing your bsn?
what NP schools did you get accepted to if you don't mind me asking?

Hello everyone, I was also a student at WGU and wanted to know if I would be accepted into a NP school after completing my BSN.I took a chance and just applied to three different well known universities. I am proud to say that I was accepted into all three! The 3.0 GPA did not really affect my overall GPA. My overall GPA was 3.3 after completing WGU. If your GPA is around 3.5 starting WGU, you should not have any problem getting into the NP program of your choice. Good luck to you all future CRNP!

Does anyone know if any of the FNP programs are similar to WGU in that they are self paced? I prefer classes that I don’t have to log into at set times or have participation requirements.
